Bergmann made his reality TV debut in 2005 on MTV’s The Real World: Austin, and since then he has competed on different versions of The Challenge, as well as the spinoff Champs vs. The Stars and the Real World/Road World challenge series. He knows how to get rid of his competition and form valuable alliances with his reality TV game. And, in the world of business, he knows how to make money.

Celebrity Net Worth claims that Bergmann is worth $500,000, and his company has expanded to Tulsa, Oklahoma. But, even though it isn’t the best business decision, he continues to compete on The Challenge.

“It wasn’t the best thing for me to do, professionally speaking, but it’s the coolest hobby in the world,” said Bergmann. “I think I would feel remiss if I’m sitting on a rocking chair one day and look back and think… Wow, I didn’t do this because I couldn’t find a way to make it work with my job. I want to do it all and maybe I can.”

He did take a three-year break from competing on reality shows because he says he needed it to fit it into his schedule. Bergmann explained that with War of the Worlds, MTV gave him more notice than they had in the past, so he was able to prepare his company for his absence.

Bergmann says that when he returned to the show, he felt like he walked in as the king, and then he did his job and played strategically.

During the most recent episode of War of the Worlds, Bergmann showed off his mastery of the show’s politics, but he says his reputation as a master manipulator is “misunderstood.” Bergmann explained that no one really trusts him because they don’t want to be one of his victims, but they should because all of his deals are mutually advantageous.

Wes Bergmann says that when he says he is going to do something, he does it. So, if he is not talking to you during the game and promising you something, then you’re next.
