Heat Fans Call For Tyler Herro Trade After Seeing New Tattoo

July 2024 · 2 minute read

Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro is one of the most intriguing young players in the NBA today. He undeniably has an All-Star level ceiling, but at times has trouble staying consistent.

In his first year with Miami, Herro was an integral part of the team’s march to the NBA Finals. In Year 2, he took an undeniable step back. So much so that he was called out for it by the Heat’s front office and some of his teammates.

Then came Year 3 – which was a mixed bag. He did really well in the regular season, putting up career highs in points, assists, field goal percentage and three-point percentage. That was the good. The bad came in the playoffs, when he simply couldn’t recreate his magical postseason streak from the COVID bubble run.

This week, Herro’s up-and-down run in 2022 continued when he displayed his new chest tattoo to the world.

Reactions, understandably, were diverse.

I’d trade him just for getting that tattoo

Big picture, this is shaping up to be a big year for Herro. He is currently being floated in trade conversations for not one, but two big name NBA superstars.

Time will tell what ultimately happens on that front.

Beyond on-the-court happenings, Herro has also had a busy offseason. His longtime girlfriend and mother of his child Katya Elise Henry came out and made some serious claims against him. Then she accused him of having a tiny manhood. And then shortly thereafter, the pair came out and revealed they were expecting another child.

Make of that what you will.

Can Herro drown out the outside noise, put in work and come back as an All-Star in 2022-23?

An answer will emerge in the coming months.
